At PatchNPaint, we repair walls and ceilings, then repaint them: after water damage, a leak, or a visit from a plumber or an electrician. Often in a single day: one client, one job. We're looking for a tradesperson whose finish is invisible.

Your trade
What you do
- Assess the repair at the client's home and price it in the app
- Repair drywall after water damage, a leak, a plumber or an electrician: open up, remove what's damaged, insulate if needed, install ½" or 5/8" drywall
- Tape and mud the joints, do dust-free sanding and apply primer
- Match the colour and paint the repair, the room or the ceiling
- The extras: mouldings, drywall boxing to hide a duct, removing a textured ("popcorn") ceiling
- Protect the space, handle the waste and leave the place clean, in houses and condos alike
The PatchNPaint division
PatchNPaint is Beau-frère à louer's repair and painting division: patchnpaint.ca. Part of the Connect-forces network, since 2009.
Its promise to clients: the same specialist repairs the drywall and does the painting. That specialist is you.
A typical project

The client had water damage. You go take a look, assess how much needs to be opened up and send your quote from the app.
You protect the floor and the furniture, then you open the drywall and remove what was damaged.
Insulation if needed, new drywall, joints. You work clean.
Dust-free sanding, then primer. That's what makes the repair disappear.
You match the colour and paint the repair, or the whole room if that's what was sold.
You pick up your waste and take your photos in the app. You create your invoice on site in the Beau-frère à louer app and hand it to the client.

You create your quote and your invoice on site in the Beau-frère à louer app and hand it to the client. The office handles the follow-up.
Who it's for

- You have several years in the trade in plastering, drywall taping or painting
